Our E-Pocket (2) ...

Happy Friday beautiful friends!

How's your weekdays? Hope you had a great one. Over here, we only work for four days this week. Thanks to National Day.

My entry today is again on E-Pocket. I've shared with you my email to the officer-in-charge here. And, I did talk about it here, too where my superordinate heard about it being mentioned at the grand launching or the Jerayawara.

Yesterday, we received slides of the E-Pocket grand launching, and so did another 733 schools in Kedah State. When my boss asked me to go through the email, I just helped her to download and save it somewhere in our school PC. Only this morning I went through the email again, leisurely though. This is what I discovered in the email. It's in one the officer's grand launch slides! It's my email to her.

Heard of it read at the Jerayawara thrilled me. Seeing it being embedded in the officer's slides braced and delighted me like wine.

Thanks Madam Aiza for giving me this honor.

Happy Friday ...

Happy Friday, sweet friends.

I hope all of you had a great week. Mine was awesome.

I received this  great piece of news on Tuesday. It's the much awaited one. I got it after applying for the fourth time. This quote When there is no peril in the fight there is no glory in the triumph by
Pierre Corneille is indeed very true for me.

On the same day, I concluded the action research done for my school. I've talked about it here and I'm happy with the outcome.

On Wednesday, I attended a teachers' professional development seminar - a very fruitful one! Took home plethora of useful tips for future preparation.
On Thursday, I was told by my boss that my email to the officer-in-charge was read at the launching of E-Pocket. Another piece of great news for me. Though it might sound 'small' to some but to me it means 'huge'!
To conclude, it's indeed a wonderful week.

Our E-Pocket ...

An email to the officer-in-charge.

Good day Madam Aiza.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you and your team for the launching of E-Pocket. You've done a great job.

As for our school, SYC, we distributed the cute little blue booklet to our students on Sunday, August 24, 2014. Once they got hold of the book, they couldn't resist the temptation to write. They kept on writing until they're told to stop doing it. I didn't 'hold' my Year Six from writing. They find it very beneficial.

They love everything about the book. They love the sentence patterns. They love the colour. They love the design. There's only complain about the E-Pocket - the micro font!

However, I regret to inform you that none of us, English teachers (only 2 teachers) could be there with you to witness the grand JERAYAWARA. We're tied down with some other commitment and responsibilities. We're very sorry.

Attached are the testimonials of E-Pocket in our school.
