Roses.

This shot was taken yesterday, a cool Monday morning. I don't know her name but I love her immensely.

Day 18/37

Raining.

It's raining cats and dogs.

It's been raining since dawn and it rains the whole day.

Dusita Vista is being enveloped in thick mist.

The scenery is heavenly.

The air is cool and refreshing.

Day 17/37

Re-potting.

I've got my dream plants two days ago and it's time to re-pot them.

The plants in the list are hydrangea, the Lady of the Night and angelonia.

I got the task done with the help of my hubby, of course. We used up three bags of compost and two bags of baked garden soil.

I really hope these new members of Dusita Garden will adapt to the new environment soon.

Blue daze.

I adore blue daze due to its colour, blue.

I love every shade of blue.

Blue daze is a morning flower.

Come rain or shine, blue daze has never failed to perform.

Hydrangea.

I had always wanted to plant hydrangea in my garden.

My dream came true when an online seller informed me about the availability of the plant.

They came early this morning; after spending two days on the road, cramming in a box.

One looks good but the other one is quite worrying.

They came together with the Lady of the Night and pink Angelonia.

No matter what it takes, I hope they will grow well in Dusita Vista Garden.

Sisters.

We're sisters.

There's no better friend than a sister, and there's no better sister than you.

Day 12/37

Day 12.

How time flies. I couldn't agree more with the old adage; time flies when you're having fun!

I have a feeling that I haven't done much in these 12 days. I don't see any vital project accomplished thus far. I'm yet to lay my hand on the stalled 'project'! I was diverted each time I sat down for it. I need to do something. I have to do it quick!

No matter what the project is, gardening is still my top priority! Let's admire the charming old school flowers that provide the cheery blue to my garden, Dusita Vista Garden.

This baby blue beauty, Plumbago auriculata, is always very dear to me. I've been yearning for this flower from the moment I laid eyes on it. Now, I'm the proud owner of three healthy Plumbago plants and they keep me smiling with their continuous blooms. They are a little idle during the rainy season though.

Day 11/37

Day 11.

Cooking. Yes, after many moons I cook today. But, the focus isn't the dishes that I cook, for food isn't my passion and neither does the cooking.

Reading, blogging and gardening are my passion. But that's a whole different blog post.

For today, I'm going to focus on the lady of the house - Lady of Megginch. I woke up this morning to a sweet fragrance smiling lady. She's dangling over the fence; beckoning to me as if she wants to have her picture taken.

More blooms are expected in the next few days.

Day 10/37

Day 10.

It's weeding day. Both of us, me and my hubby spend the whole morning weeding and clearing the overgrowth and weeds.

This picture has nothing to do with today's activity. I adore the pink flowers though. Please ignore the droopy leaves and flowers as this shot was taken at noon and the March sun was unbearable. 

Nothing makes a tender plant wilt quicker, than a hot, dry day. Add in a dry wind, and the conditions for wilting are perfect. Do not worry as the plant recovers as late day and evening temperatures go lower. This is very common with this beauty.
