Good evening peeps!

Do you like to give suggestions? Do you have many great ideas spinning in your head?

Watch out! Your ideas might bite. Your suggestions might hurt.

Instead of constructing and building, you and your recommendation might be heading straight to the 'Doom Valley', unknowingly.

Hence, pick and choose the recipients (of your suggestions) deliberately. Not everyone can accept your ideas openly. Be prepared to take criticisms. Make plans for reprisal.

I've thought about it thoroughly. I've done the research intensively. I've considered every possibility. I've looked at it from various angles.

Yet, my ideas bite!

A New Book on the Shelf ...

As I was browsing through the Net for the fresh new ideas in tackling young minds, I stumbled upon this book, Teaching Outside the Box: How to Grab Your Students by Their Brains. This indispensable book is authored by LouAnne Johnson, my favourite author who penned My Posse Don't Do Homework.


According to WILEY, Teaching Outside the Box offers practical strategies that will help both greenhorns and seasoned veterans create dynamic classroom environments where students enjoy learning and teachers enjoy teaching. This  book is said to be filled with no-nonsense advice, checklists, and handouts as well as practical suggestions for arranging classroom, talking to students, avoiding the misbehavior cycle, and making school a place where students learn and teachers teach. And also step-by-step instructions for introducing Shakespeare to reluctant readers.


I'm anticipating this book. Hoping that it'll be on the shelf in the neighbourhood bookstore soon.
