Today is the day. Take Away English was kickstarted at 1.00 p.m. on the dot today. Earlier on, our Headmaster announced the programme to students and teachers during the weekly assembly.

Overall, the pupils involved were very excited. They were very eager to answer each question posted. They were quick at responding and answering. I hope, the fire in them will keep burning forever and ever.

Day 80/365

Among other things, similes and idioms will be the focus of Take Away English.

Children in my school know what is similes. They know what is idiom. They have been introduced to similes and idioms since they were in Year 4. They read similes. They memorise idioms every day. Nonetheless, they don't know how to use them in sentences. That's why Take Away English... is born.

Take Away English ...

The new programme will be launched this Sunday, March 22, 2015.
It's slated to take off at 1.00 p.m. in our airy school hall.
Years 4,5 and 6 pupils are directly involved in this programme.
The contents in their My Notebook would be utilised.
