Points Redemption

A new award system for my students has just kicked off.

It's a kind of point redemption ...

Be good to earn a point...

Work hard to score a point...

Aiming for this cute thingy...

Or this...

Or these....

Eventually, their hard work and great behaviour would lead to this victorious moment!!

One Bird Flew the Nest ...

Like it or lump it, we, mothers have to cope with this. Sooner or later, our offspring would fly the nest. Our children would left home for university and later would settle down, most probably in a faraway land.

Though I have not suffer from the Empty Nest Syndrome, as yet ... ripples of change in our daily life could be felt right away. My big boy had just left for boarding school on the last day of January. He would be in the fully residential school for two years.

The first signs of my son's imminent departure appeared soon after his Form 3 (the last year of middle school) exit exam result was announced. Scoring straight As in the major public exam guaranteed him into the school.

I'm for sure proud of his achievement and I do share his sense of his excitement but... deep down , I feel dejected as he is off. Whenever I walked into his room and sat down on his bed, his stuffed animal, Mr Croc that we (my hubby and I) bought for him years ago stared at me with a sad look in his eyes, or it seemed to me....

Oh my... It's been a long, long time...

...since I last blogged! My last post was about two months ago. It means, I haven't spruced up my blog in 2012.

I'm rare! Yes, you heard me right. I'm an unusual blogger. I visit my blog every day...without fail. Sometimes, it's a few times a day. I checked others' blog. I left comments whenever I felt like it.

Ruefully, I just couldn't update my own site. I don't have the urge to post an entry at my blog. I suspected I was infected with 'I Can't Do It Syndrome'. I'm unlike most of my blogger friends, who happened to write and poured out their feelings naturally. They could do it wherever and whenever they feel like it. How I envy their spontaneous- free flow nature!

As for me, though I have loads of things in my mind ... I just couldn't bring myself to write, what's more to post an entry if deep down inside me says NO! I'm deeply sorry if I have bored you with those pathetic excuses.

Undeniably, I have lots of things to share with you my dear readers. But, let's save them for the next entries as I wouldn't want the history to repeat itself. As a welcoming gesture, do feast your eyes on the following awesome pictures. Stories behind them would certainly make an appearance soon. You have my words...
